Preparing the Strawberries
- Cut the tops off of the strawberries and then cut them into quarters.
- Put them into a bowl and sprinkle in the pinch of salt and the pinch of sugar.
- Zest ¼ of a lemon with a microplane or fine zester and add the zest to the strawberries and toss to evenly distribute.
- Set aside until serving.
For the Salad
- Place the greens in a bowl and sprinkle with 1-2 pinches of salt and with 1-2 cracks of black pepper.
- Add the vinaigrette to your liking and gently toss the greens to coat.
- Add half of the goat cheese, half of the strawberries, and half of the candied almonds and gently toss once more to evenly distribute.
- Place the greens on your desired plate and top with the remaining goat cheese, almonds and strawberries.
- Enjoy!
